The Contract ERP Data Analyst for Tiffany Internal Manufacturing will be responsible for the analysis, modification, and entry of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system data to ensure and improve proper system functionality and data integrity. Primary focus will be in the areas of item master definition, Engineering Change Notice (ECN)/ Engineering Change Order (ECO) coordination, Bill of Materials (BOM) and Routing accuracy, inventory consumption accuracy, intercompany material flow, and other internal manufacturing concerns. This position will interface with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and life cycle management teams to ensure ERP system information is accurate and change control activity is executed in a timely manner. This role is seated in our Cumberland, RI facility, and projected to be an indefinate contract assignment.
Responsibilities:
Work safely at all times by consistently following safe work procedures for your position, as well as all safety procedures required at your worksite. Update item data and product documentation to support changing business needs, product relocation, product revision, and document search requirements. Drive the pace of change through defined workflows and approval requirements. Work closely with Engineering and New Products teams to manage timely input of all new product data into Tiffany & Co.'s Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) and document control systems. Ensure item data is aligned with Engineering, Planning, and Manufacturing needs and the product life cycle. Define document approval workflows, monitor document libraries, configure document control software and support documentation control software users. Work to ensure availability of documentation to authorized parties. Play a key role in the expanded use of Tiffany & Co.'s document control systems. Perform large volumes of item master data analysis for inconsistencies across multiple manufacturing branches and recommend appropriate changes. Requires the item setup, bill of materials (BOMs) and routings. Assist in the gathering and reporting of performance Key Performance Indicators (KPI) metrics for Engineering Change Notice (ECN)/Engineering Change Orders (ECO) activity. Drive improvement in change management process through data analysis and effective supervision of approval workflows. Engage users and managers to improve engineering change cycle times.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree or 5 years related experience in manufacturing or engineering data support in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, documentation control and support, or product configuration
- General understanding of Bill of Materials (BOMs), Routings, and Item Master Data
- Very good data analysis skill using Excel
- Highly organized
- Experienced in JD Edwards, Oracle, SAP, or other modern ERP/MRP system
- Experience in ADEPT or other sophisticated document control software
