Amica Insurance, located in Lincoln, RI is seeking interns for our Accounting Department. These are paid internships and the working hours are 37.5 hours per week during the summer months. Amica has created an internship program that is an excellent way for students to receive hands-on experience. Upon successful completion of an internship, candidates could be considered for full time employment.

Our internship program is designed for individuals who have completed their junior year from an accredited college/university before the start of the summer internship and will be continuing their undergraduate studies in the fall. Candidates should be seeking a degree in Accounting or Finance with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

This position involves performing various duties within the Accounting Department at Amica, which include:

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis
  • Tax and Compliance
  • Treasury Operations

Interns will be able to choose two of the areas listed above (which are subject to change) and spend a five-week rotation in each area.
