Trade Elevation Senior Investment Specialists deliver phone based support to internal and external clients. The team is leveraged to manage frontline risk through answering inquiries regarding buying power, margin, investment products, trading, market mechanics and corporate action inquiries. The team also supports entering higher risk or uncommon trades which require greater expertise. Team members develop an expert understanding of internal policies, procedures and processes to leverage in their role of providing frontline risk mitigation. The role broadens as experience and expertise is gained. Opportunities include margin operations, trading pre-approvals, corporate actions administration, option risk mitigation among other risk management tasks and projects.

Enterprise Role Overview
In a call center setting, Senior Investment Specialists provide the highest caliber of service to Merrill Edge clients through general inquiries, account maintenance, online access, website navigation and execution/confirmation of trade orders initiated by self-directed clients. Senior Investment Specialists also uncover additional client needs, deepen existing relationships and refer clients to partner businesses Associates provide limited research and counseling services on limited products but do not develop client relationships. May follow up on client contacts to close the sale of investment products. Licensing requirements are as follows: Series 7 & 66 (or 63 & 65 equivalent).

Required skills:
•Series 7 and 66 (or equivalent) required
•Successful team members are analytical, detailed orientated, service orientated and demonstrate strong ownership and risk mindsets
•General understanding of margin, equity and option trading, and related trading violations.
•High level understanding of Merrill Edge Platform/website and client order entry procedure
•Knowledgeable in the products and services provided by our firm
•Candidates must be able to demonstrate a history of success through productivity and quality measurements and be flexible in work schedule and your daily roles

Desired Skills:
•Self-starter who can work independently
•Strong Collaborator
•Effective communicator, who can easily convey complex or detailed information in a phone based environment
•Interested and knowledgeable in financial markets
•Retail investing/trading experience
•Experience with EXCEL
