This is a Citizens National Senior Business Systems Analyst (SBSA) position. The successful candidate will possess the strategic and analytical skills to help guide the business through the definition, preparation, and development of requirements in support of the execution of projects and strategic initiatives. The candidate will perform complex analysis and root cause analysis to support business initiatives in Operations and across pods in the National Bank. The candidate will work closely with Operations and leadership teams as well as business partners across the organization and our vendors. A successful candidate will be someone who can effectively manage competing priorities and will thrive in a role where every day brings something new.

Primary Responsibilities are:

  • Collaborate and work closely with Business Line representatives including EO's, Scrum Masters, SME's, Solution Architects, and Test Manager to ensure that business requirements are properly, accurately, and completely captured.
  • Possess an understanding of applicable business systems, applications and industry requirements.
  • Possess business line knowledge, best practices and industry knowledge. In an agile environment, work with various National Bank neighborhood pods to identify requirements as it relates to business, compliance and /or regulations that provide an excellent experience for customers.
  • Consult with appropriate business lines in the development of new products, services or processes including systems documentation and internal controls.
  • Working in concert with EO's, SME's and business lines, solicit business requirements to be used in the design and testing of appropriate solutions meant to meet business requirements.
  • Prepare in-depth analysis on potentially complex issues and present findings.
  • Define and support BAU processes for existing applications.
  • Participate in the review and validation of UAT test plans to ensure requirements are met.
  • Work with business to document use cases. Conduct use case review with business and technology partners.
  • Participate in screen designs and wireframes to support proposed functionality.
  • Participate in the analysis of current processes and recommendations for process improvements that will improve overall business unit performance. Document process mapping for customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with key stakeholders across the business to contribute to the effective operation of the business unit.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for change to add value to the achievement of business objectives and enhance customer experience.
  • Identify risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions in accordance with project standards.
  • Support various ad-hoc requests.
Qualifications
  • 5 + years relevant experience as a Business Systems Analyst with banking service systems including Deposit Operations and Consumer Banking business.
  • Project life-cycle methodology experience preferred, Agile experience a plus.
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
Hours and Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: 8:0am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday
