Position Overview:

Senior Commercial Credit Underwriter (Underwriter) has primary focus on analyzing and interpreting all types of commercial credit information and able to make recommendations and lending decisions regarding the extension of credit considering all elements of the loan request, including offering recommendations on appropriate credit structures.

Essential Job Functions/Duties:

• Meet, call, or electronically communicate with loan applicants and existing customers to obtain financial information, analyze, and review credit applications, document loan transactions ("asset custody") and make recommendations to Senior Underwriter for credit facility dispositions.
• Support Problem Loan Analysis.
• Financial Spread interpretation is primarily tax return based.
• Prepare and interpret financial statements spreads, complete credit approval memos (CAMs).
• Adhere to all consumer and commercial credit policies, guidelines, and compliance requirements.
• Complete background research on borrowers, which includes industry information, personal and/or company background/ history and other necessary information to complete loan package.
• Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills and customer service skills.
• Must have the ability to interact effectively with a broad range of stakeholders.

• Ability to work independently and as a member of a project team.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Consumer/mortgage lending experience is a plus.
• Must have Inquisitive Personality and a strong Work Ethic
