About Parallel Financial
Parallel is a boutique fee only wealth management firm with offices in Greenville, Spartanburg, and Seneca. There are currently 10 full time staff and 3 part time support staff. We provide a full offering of wealth management services to primarily business owners, retirees, and professionals. Our platform includes: financial, retirement, and tax planning, investments, insurance, and risk management. Being independent allows us to implement creative solutions to help solve our clients' wants, needs, and pain points. We also have fully embraced technology to help with scale and efficiency in delivering our solutions.
Job Description
To serve as a liaison between Parallel Financial and clients making sure their administrative and operational needs are taken care of. Takes ownership of all operational and administrative duties within the firm. Also serves as main point of contact with internal partners such as custodians, vendors, and compliance. Office hours are 9am - 4pm: Monday through Friday.
General Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide client service to the Parallel Financial's advisory base through phone, internet and in person.
- Coordinate and prepare resources for client visits and reviews.
- Oversee all of the systems and workflows and look for ways to improve.
- Interact with Compliance and Operations, including special projects.
- Help facilitate client live events.
- Help owners manage support staff (Receptionist, Compliance Consultant, & Paraplanner)
Client Related Work
- Manage client onboarding processes and workflows
- Get all documents executed (acct. application, MoneyLink, prime broker, ACAT, power of attorney)
- Process client money movements (wires, MoneyLink, checks, journal entries)
- Provide clients with any ad hoc reporting (i.e. realized gains/losses)
- Update Client notes pertaining to client communications in CRM
- Follow up on client to do's from meetings
- Provide information to accountants at tax time
- Handle tax payments for trustee accounts
Prospect Related Work
- Help Advisors through the prospect discovery meeting process
- Enter and maintain new opportunities/prospects in CRM and facilitate various reporting.
- Set up appointments and help prospects gather data for initial meetings.
- Assist in preparation and attend meetings with prospects and advisors.
Technology/Operational Related Work
- Subject Matter Expert with Excel, Office Applications, Google Apps, Black Diamond, Redtail/Salesforce CRM, social media, scheduling software, Docusign, and form building software,
- Act as point of contact for internal staff for questions and issues with Redtail/Salesforce CRM, Calendly, and Black Diamond.
- Assist with integration of Redtail/Salesforce CRM to our other internal systems to create better processes for the prospect and client experience.
- Knowledge of Zapier workflows preferred but not required.
- Serve as a liaison between the office and our tech support services provider.
Qualifications
- High technology proficiency required. Must be able to learn, understand, and use various cloud based software services.
- Ability to prioritize work activities and multi-task with efficient time management..
- Must maintain client confidentiality; demonstrate integrity and code of ethics.
- Must be courteous, professional, outgoing, motivated and customer service oriented.
- Ability to analyze complex or diverse information, use intuition and experience to respond to inquiries, exhibit sound and accurate judgment in a fast-paced environment.

- Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year College or University is preferred, but not required.
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office Applications, Google Apps, Client Data Interface, Portfolio Accounting Software, Various Cloud Based Applications, spreadsheet sufficiency
