JOB TITLE/LOCATION:

Talent Acquisition Partner - Greenville, SC

DESCRIPTION:

The Talent Acquisition Partner will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the MOPT business. Will facilitate the transition to a new recruitment platform and recruitment/onboarding process as Dodge is divested to new owner in Q4 2021.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.

  • Seeks to understand MOPT business and positions that support its operation (from hourly to senior level management)

  • Collaborates with department managers to initiate job requisitions and conducts intake meetings to clarify hiring criteria and timeframes.

  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.

  • Posts and advertises job openings for plant and HQ locations to ensure target audiences and diverse populations are reached.

  • Screens applications and short-lists qualified candidates; submits same to hiring manager for consideration/disposition.

  • Assists with scheduling of interviews.

  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and HRBP's to extend offers to internal and external candidates.

  • Works with HRBP and Hiring Managers to onboard new talent into the organization.

  • Maintains applicant log and provides site detail to plant/HQ HRBP's for affirmative action and EEO1 reporting purposes

  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.

  • Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting sessions.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Attendance at work is an essential function of the job.


SKILLS/ABILITIES:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.

  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.

  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Occasional travel.

  • Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.

  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.


EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience, required.

  • At least five years managing all phases of the recruitment and hiring process highly preferred.

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
