Job description
Job Summary:
Trusted Advisor to execute organizational programs to attract, retain, and develop employees. Cascades communication, programs, and business developments to functional business partners. Partners with management team, group leaders, supervisors, individual contributors, team, and all internal and external cliental for a great IFA experience.
Essential Functions:
Work within the assigned functional assigned area to serve as a trusted advisor to the functional manager/director for any Human Resource related need
Serve as the first point of contact for Employee relations issues within the value stream organization
Actively participate in functional team meetings, giving visibility to HR related activities and reporting on any HR initiatives
Assist functional manager/director with mentoring team to comply with IFA programs, policies, and directives as part of IFA IMS, IPS, or quality programs
Partner with functional manager/director to supply reports, metrics, and KPIs
Provides guidance on workforce flexibility, workforce analytics, and workforce change management
Implement strategies created with functional manager/director to support individual and team needs
Conduct HR analysis and evaluate trends to share with functional manager/director for more efficient operations
Define, Measure, Analyze, Implement and Control problem resolution for HR improvement projects
Train and Mentor HRG
Collects and analyzes HR related data and makes recommendations to management for org. improvements
Ability to lead efforts for organization branding and becoming employer of choice
Facilitate and manage the recruiting process in assigned area
Execute performance management program and activities via learning initiatives, facilitating development plans, identification of emerging talent, support and assist in developing mentoring programs and drive performance management activities
Facilitate total rewards programs including employee engagement, compensation strategy, and budgeting resource
Counsel managers/employees on policy interpretation, employee performance, employee relations issues, disciplinary and/or termination issues
Administer medical leaves of absence support and benefit open enrollment
Maintains current knowledge of relevant human resources procedures and practices, and relevant labor laws
Maintains knowledge of HRI systems, benefits and compensation program
Develop and revise HR procedures

Supervisory Responsibility
No supervisory experience required, individual contributor position.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to walk/move about a 500,000 sq ft manufacturing facility: 20% of the time
Must be able to stand/walk/move about specific work area: 50% of the time
Must be able to bend/reach/twist/stoop: 15% of the time
Must be able to lift up to 15lbs on a frequent basis: 40% of the time
Must be able to lift over 15lbs on an infrequent basis: 10% of the time
Must be able to sit at a work station: 80% of the time
Must be able to work and operate a computer terminal: 80% of the time
Vision is required to analyze and process work; and to work on computer terminal/machine centers, etc. Hearing is essential for safety reasons; and to communicate with employees, supervisors, managers, suppliers and customers via conversation, group meetings, and/or phone conferences
Ability and willingness to travel domestically an internationally as required
Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
Office based position in manufacturing environment. Must demonstrate flexibility to meet needs to 24/7 business.
Travel
0 to 25% North American based travel.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelors degree and five-seven years experience in Human Resources in a manufacturing environment.
