Who Are We Looking For?

Venture X is looking for enthusiastic Community Manager who can live and breathe our core values. We want someone that has a passion for hospitality to assist in creating a memorable member experience. We'll also need you to know your way around a computer and be comfortable supporting customers through phone, email, and in person.

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring a positive member experience by:

· Organizing all events (example: food trucks, bar carts, weekly snacks in café)

· Organizing the monthly member newsletter

· Ensuring all communications with members are done promptly and efficiently

· Ensuring all meeting rooms reserved by members are clean and set

· Making oneself available to assist members with any questions/concerns they may have

Responsible for the overall positive and welcoming atmosphere of Venture X by:

· Ensuring the cleanliness of the common areas, café, restrooms, and member services.

· Ensuring the café, restrooms, Member Services, and janitorial supply closets are stocked.

· Maintaining the proper inventory checklist and supply order

Partner with the Sales Manager in all New Member Onboarding duties:

· Agreement entry

· Keycard creations

· New Member Orientations

· Etc.

Point of Contact/Person in Charge of:

· Janitorial

· Plant Vendor

· Furniture Vendor

· HVAC

· Pest Control

· Access Control

· Printer

· Attend weekly staff meetings, coming prepared with the necessary reports/notes

This role is a vital part of the services we provide to our members. In assisting them to make the most of their businesses and careers, you have a great impact on that experience. The Community Manager is the front line in creating a welcoming atmosphere and assisting members and guests with their needs. Each day brings a new challenge and opportunity to positively impact our community.

Reporting

· Monthly call to discuss the weeks activities and results.

· Budget Reporting & Meeting/Event Revenue Reporting

· Ensure a smooth communication flow regarding any special member requirements or any other matters that are relevant for team members

Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

· Minimum 1 year experience in the service/hospitality industry

· Prior Experience organizing Meetings and Events is a huge plus

· High School Diploma Required

· High standard of customer service and strong written and oral skills

· Excellent organizational skills

· Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate flexibility

· IT knowledge

Mental Requirements: Reasoning, remembering, mathematics, appropriate language ability

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to handle interruptions to work flow

· Ability to receive written or oral instructions

· Ability to work with a variety of individuals

· Ability to listen and respond clearly

· Hearing - Ability to receive detailed information through oral and telephone communication

· Talking - Clearly expresses ideas by means of spoken word

· Repetitive Motions - Substantial movements of wrists, hands and fingers.

· Vision - Ability to see and read

· Crouching, kneeling, standing, climbing, stooping, walking, pushing, pulling, sitting and lifting

· Ability to handle small tools such as a drill, hammer, screwdriver, etc.

Compensation & Hours:

· You are expected to work 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. This is a salary position starting at $45,000.
