POSITION SUMMARY:

Help Managers implement initiatives. Create an environment to attract, develop, retain and engage talent throughout the organization to deliver business goals.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execution of transactional core HR processes (e.g. coordinate and conduct new employee orientation, unemployment claims processes, onboarding and exit interviews, transitional return to work, leave administration, OSHA reporting, etc.)
  • Provide coaching and guidance to associates and supervisors regarding policy and procedure
  • Support hiring managers to with recruitment and staffing plans.
  • Support and maintain time system and process payroll
  • Administer programs to promote employee satisfaction

Education and / or Experience:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources management preferred and/or an equivalent combination of related training and experience
  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Human Resources, Business Administration or a closely related field required.
  • A basic understanding of Information Technology (e.g. computer, smart phone, tablet setup)

Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:

  • Human Resource Certification Institute(HRCI) or Professional Human Resources (PHR)

  • Management of Personnel Resources.
  • Problem Sensitivity/Confidentiality on all aspects of position.
  • Social Perceptiveness: Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do.
  • Speaking & Speech Clarity: Talking to others to convey information effectively and the ability to speak clearly so others can understand you.
  • Organization: Adjusting priorities based on immediate needs.
  • Critical Thinking: Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Judgment and Decision Making: Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions for both employees and the company to choose the most appropriate one.
  • Negotiation: Bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences.
