Job Summary and Qualifications
In this role you will provide strategic human resources support at one or more HCA Healthcare facilities. You will work with a team to create a desired workplace culture. Your role will engage and influence a productive workforce through policies, programs and practices.
What you will do in this role:
* You will engage managers to understand talent needs of the businesses and define people strategies
* Partner with the VP of HR and the Labor Relations Center of Excellence (COE)
* You will provide observations related to departmental issues to help develop appropriate initiatives
* Advise managers on learning and organizational development, program implementation, completion of employee development plans and updating the succession plans
* Support employee relations, ethics, or compliance investigations
* Prepare managers for the compensation planning process and provide compensation budget information
* Perform worker's comp intake processing, support applicable employee leave of absence or return to work administration at facility level
What you should have for this role:
* Bachelor's degree
* 3 or more years of relevant work experience
* 1 or more of those years experience must be in a HR department

Grand Strand Medical Center is a 371-bed acute care hospital serving residents of Horry and surrounding counties. Our hospital offers the only cardiac surgery program, neurosurgery program and pediatric intensive care unit (PICU) in Horry and Georgetown counties and is a designated Level I Adult Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center by South Carolina DHEC. Grand Strand Medical Center is recognized by the Joint Commission, a leading accreditor of healthcare organizations in the United States, for the following programs: chest pain, knee and hip replacement, sepsis and stroke rehabilitation. North Strand ER is a 24-hour emergency department located in the North Myrtle Beach area.
* Coming Soon* Carolina Forest ER will be a 24-hour emergency department located on Oakheart Road near the Hwy 501 side of Carolina Forest Blvd.
South Strand Medical Center features a 24-hour emergency department, imaging, lab, wound care program and behavioral health.
The Advanced Wound Center is an outpatient facility for the treatment of chronic non-healing wounds and hyperbaric technology.
The Breast Center provides outpatient diagnostic services including X-ray, CT scan and ultrasound. A dedicated women's center provides digital mammography (including 3D), breast education, bone densitometry, ultrasound and x-ray services.
Carolina Forest Imaging Center offers outpatient procedures including CT scan, MRI/Breast MRI and digital mammography (screening).
HealthFinders is Grand Strand Health's community resource center, located in the Coastal Grand Mall. This facility offers a wide range of seminars, hospital and health information, free and no-cost health screenings, wellness classes and special events. HealthFinders is open Monday - Friday from 10:00am - 6:00pm. Screenings are preferred by appointment, and masks are required. Call to make an appointment.
