Job description

Under the direction of a physician, administers various sleep studies in order to diagnose the type and extent of sleep disorders. Performs routine patient assessments, scores sleep records, documents other test results. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Associate's degree or equivalent and board registration as well as a license in the state of TN as a Polysomnographic technologist. Must be familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
