Overview:Cracker Barrel is seeking a Director of Store Technology to join our IT team and provide Technology Product Management leadership over all Store Technology platforms. Accountable for defining Product Roadmaps, Product Feature requirements, Product configurations, Product Integrations, Product delivery and rollout to stores. This role will be responsible for Restaurant systems such as Point of Sale, Kitchen Display Systems, Dining Room Management Systems, Primary Cost Management - Food and Primary Cost Management Labor, Back of House applications, and Retail and Distribution center applications.Responsibility:• Define vision and strategy for the future of store technology. Investigate, research, and promote technology within Cracker Barrel.• Establish and maintain strong working relationships with store leadership teams to understand business needs and trends.• stablish Product Roadmaps that align with business discipline priorities• Seeks innovative ways to improve Store Operations, Guest Experience, and Employee Experience that meet and support store objectives such as Sales, Operating Efficiency, Food Production, Labor management, forecasting, reporting, etc.• Develop and lead Subject Matter Experts in various Store Technology product lines• Work closely with third party vendors to understand product capabilities and future development plans• Conduct feasibility studies, product test to support store teams, identify gaps, and define product requirements• Develop project scope, cost, resource requirements, product requirements, and manage projects to completion• Work closely with development leadership to define and deliver integrations of products with Cracker Barrel back-end systems.• Establish, execute, and manage migration and cutover strategies for new technology deployments. Ensure availability, reliability, security, and performance of all Store Technology• Manage team of system administrators and business analysts to ensure products are configured to Cracker Barrel business needs. Identify, manage, and resolve roadblocks to keep the team moving forward• Establish Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery processes and modernize deployment of store technologyQualifications:• Bachelor's of Science degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.• 10+ years of information Technology, Product Management, or Operations management.• 5+ years of people management and team leadership experience.• PMP, PMI, and/or Agile Certification preferred• Technical knowledge of Information Services including programming, operation, and system development• Strong Ability to communicate technically complex ideas and concepts.• Strong Management and supervisory skills.• Expert knowledge of technical product management• Skills in productivity, planning and workload management• Strong exposure to store systems and technology and experience with leading development teams• Ability to understand business strategy, organization, function, and goals set by Cracker Barrel.NOTE: Racism, either overt or perpetuated through unconscious bias, has no place at Cracker Barrel Old Country Store, and both our Mission and People Promise are firmly rooted in the principle of valuing what everyone brings to the table.
