We're recruiting for a dynamic, growth focused Principal Consultant with proven experience in the domain of Sustainability, Supply Chain, Assurance and other risk management services to join our Supply Chain & Sustainability Services team in France.
This is an exciting opportunity to take a leadership role driving growth by taking to market our exciting and innovative portfolio of Sustainability, Digital Assurance and Supply Chain services, building and leading a team of consultants in France and in the wider Western Europe region.
You will get the opportunity to win, lead and develop projects with key customers and new customers on a wide range of Supply Chain, Digital Assurance and Sustainable supply chain services. By solving real world customer and industry issues you will further develop our value propositions drawing on an impressive array of your technical, digital and expert capabilities.
When doing this, you will get the opportunity to engage with many of the leading companies and brands across a wide range of sectors and to leverage a suite of services and digital technologies to scope sell and deliver innovative solutions.
You will be expected to lead the growth of our sales and delivery for a range of Sustainability and Supply Chain services and may already have specialism and expertise in several of them, including:
ESG and Sustainability services, including Green Finance services and relations,
Supply Chain Risk Management (Strategy, Sustainable sourcing, Supplier engagement),
Supplier Assessment and Audit (Social Audits, Environmental Health and Safety Audits, Process and Quality Audits),
Supply Chain Traceability with our Digital Assurance solution (Track & Trace, Blockchain),
Experience of solving supply chain sustainability challenges in specific industries such as food and beverage, FMCG or general industrial sectors.
You will be expected to make proposals, win projects and lead project teams as well as helping to grow our business through the following activities:
Proactively seeking to identify customer needs, developing tailored solutions and selling these to new and existing clients,
Directing projects, ensuring they are executed to meet or exceed clients' expectations, on time, on budget and to DNV quality standards,
Leading and communicating effectively with your project teams and clients,
Introducing services from your own/ existing discipline(s) to new clients and new services to existing clients.
Candidates can be home based in any loaction in France or at our Paris or Lyon office with flexible.
Position Qualifications:
Experienced Principal Consultant / Manager level ideally, with at least-5 years of experience in a market facing sustainability role,
Proven track record in sales and business development in Sustainability services and covering sustainable Supply Chains,
Proven track record of leading & delivering professional services as a trusted advisor and thought leader in the domain of sustainability,
Academic qualifications relevant to sustainability subject areas,
Proven project and/or team leader, delivering service excellence,
Able to clearly delegate tasks and provide sufficient guidance, support and feedback on performance to teams of experts and Consultants, building a high performing team and contributing to the performance in France,
Willingness to travel and work around France and the wider Weterne Europe area and on occasions overseas,
Fluency in English and French is a prerequisite.
