Position: Teller

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Create the Allied Experience by representing the Credit Union in a welcoming, courteous and professional manner

· Cross sell products and services

· Comply with established policy and procedures including, but not limited to Reg CC, Bank Secrecy Act.

· Maintain privacy and confidentiality of member information

· Process deposits and disburse cash or check withdrawals, verify transactions, detect and resolve discrepancies promptly

· Monitor deposit amounts and examine documents for endorsement and negotiability

· Process loan and VISA Card payments

· Process transfer requests

· Process cash advance, cashiers check and money order requests

· Balance daily transactions and verify cash totals

· Answer questions and solve problems for members

· Answer basic IRA questions for members

· Issue temporary checks

· Perform file maintenance and account changes as needed

· File documents

· Process incoming and outgoing mail

· Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· Previous Teller; 1 experience required or

· Cash handling; 2 years required

· Good communication skills

· Good math skills.

· Professional appearance, dress and attitude

· Ability to operate related computer applications and other business equipment

· Ability to sit and/or stand for periods of up to two hours or more.

· Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds

· Must have reliable transportation

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
