The Advisory Services Group is the rapidly growing in-house, fee-for-service consulting group coinciding with the software organization. We work directly with financial institutions to solve the problems automation cannot, and you will find your work directly impacting and supporting the decision-making of an entire industry. As a role within a high-growth company, the range of initiatives is dynamic and will provide exposure into multiple areas of the company.
As our offerings and customer base expand, we are recruiting for people who can drive further engagement with our market. The Business Development Analyst role will be responsible for identifying and contacting possible customers, as well as monitoring and reporting on the business development cycle. While this is not a role with sales (closing) responsibilities, the role will be critical to group success. This person will report to the Managing Director of Advisory Services. What You'll Do:
- Generate statements of work and project plans for interested potential clients
- Qualify leads and opportunities by learning about who they are and what they do, and make sure their situation and timing is right to be handed off to the Advisory Services Group.
- Secure and arrange meetings with potential clients and group Directors
- Meet with VP personnel at the Abrigo organization to assess pipeline opportunities
- Coordinate pre-engagement courtesy work to increase a prospective client's engagement
- Assist the Advisory Services Group in preparing and editing quotes, contracts, and other documents in the sales process
What You'll Need:
- 1-3 years of experience in business development preferred
- Ability to accomplish tasks in a timely manner and track record of results-oriented achievements
- Ability to manage a diverse set of responsibilities concurrently
- A self-starter with the ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent presentation, communication, writing, and listening skills
- Ability to quickly build credibility with an executive level audience
