Identity and Access Management - Cybersecurity Engineering and Operations Consultant
Location: Remote - United States

We are currently seeking a Cybersecurity - Identity and Access Management - Consultant based in the United States to join our global team. This individual will join the Account Management and Active Directory Services team in the Identity and Access Management organization supporting Dell's Global Chief Security Officer. The chosen candidate must have experience designing, supporting & managing IAM technologies in a large-scale enterprise environment.
Responsibilities
- Leads a technical team in developing IAM solutions to complex business problems
- Leads the design of multiple service areas or IAM technologies within a broader services solution; leads overall technical implementation for large and complex engagements
- Collaborates with Cybersecurity Architecture team to develop IAM/PAM roadmaps and drive delivery
- Participates or leads in customer presentations at the senior leadership level or higher
- Leads research, discovery, planning and implementation efforts to improve business processes
- Acts as a subject matter expert and local leader; contributes directly to the development of IAM strategy, policy, standards, and procedures
- Partners with senior management inside and outside of the organization
- Understands impact of emerging business trends and their implications for Dell and its customers
- Advises key leadership on the latest principles, practices, and/or technologies and their practical application
- Acts as a leader and mentor for less senior engineering staff and works with team management to implement career development through engineering assignments
Experience
- Experience with Cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, G-Suite)
- Experience with Cloud Identity Management platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Okta)
- Experience with Privileged Access Management platforms (e.g., CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Centrify)
- Experience with Credential/Secrets Management solutions (e.g., CyberArk, Hashicorp)
- Expert in Privileged Access Management concepts, process, and controls
- Experience with scripting, automation, and configuration management
- Experience in design, development, implementation, and maintenance of large-scale systems, preferably across multiple hardware and software platforms
- Expert knowledge of virtualization concepts and design principles
- Extensive experience with performance analysis, tuning and optimizing
- Understanding of operational challenges and dependencies as they relate to infrastructure decisions
- Sensitivity to security best practices as related to infrastructure and application architectures
- Experience with Agile frameworks and delivery concepts
Requirements
- A degree in Information Technology, Information Security, or related major; or 10 years of direct experience in the field of cybersecurity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to create and deliver presentations to Cybersecurity leadership and business stakeholders
- Understanding of Cybersecurity architecture and associated technologies with a focus on Identity and Access Management solutions
- Understands change management & Service management best practices with experience supporting global customers
- Ability to effectively manage stress in a constantly changing environment
- Highly focused on supporting a strong cohesive team and security culture
- Excellent judgment and the ability to make quick decisions when working with complex situations
- Strong business acumen and forward-thinking
- High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and confidence, representing the company and its management team with the highest level of professionalism
- Industry-standard cybersecurity certification from ISC(2), SANS, or similar entity
