Job Title: Product and Service Operations Project Manager
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 6 Months

Summary:
Product and Service Operations (PSO) mission is to build a service engine that solves today's customer problems and prevents tomorrow's. Our unique position at the intersection of product and service allows us to partner with teams across Facebook to drive our business forward by representing the perspective of the community and combining quantitative with qualitative signals to drive product launches and improvements.

The PSO New Products team provides support to product teams by delivering actionable product insights from customers through product testing and immersions to inform product development. We are seeking a contractor to help the leadership team execute on strategic projects including streamlining processes, driving alignment with cross-functional partners, and communicating key updates to senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a strong background in project management and/or consulting. They should be passionate about the product development process, analytically minded and a great communicator.

Responsibilities:
Work with the leadership team to gain a deep understanding of the high priority projects that need support to drive to success.
Prioritize the list of needs with the Director of New Products based on urgency, complexity and business impact and then work with key stakeholders to scope the effort.
Project manage initiatives by coordinating with the cross-functional teams to ensure all groups are aligned on high level goals and able to execute on the agreed upon milestones.
Create mechanisms for identifying and monitoring updates, milestones and roadblocks on project work and ensure leadership is aware of status and progress.
Deliver on agreed upon initiatives in a timely manner and with a high level of quality.

Skills
6+ years work experience in consulting, startup, operations or product
6+ strategy environment (3+ years experience with Masters degree)
Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and unstructured problems Excellent communication skills
Open, collaborative and proven team player, with an ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance or support
Project management experience and experience running strategic projects with cross-functional teams
Knowledge of e-commerce operations

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, MBA preferred
8+ years work experience
Experience in a startup environment and/or consulting experience
Experience leading cross functional initiatives
