- Places miscellaneous ancillary lines (Bonds, Crime, Windstorm, Flood, Cyber Coverage, Pollution Liability, etc.) for Self-Insured Pools and stand-alone accounts
- Coordinates placement of Pool reinsurance renewals with Vice President/Program Executive and Risk Analyst
- Facilitates handling of Sedgwick RSG certificates of insurance for legacy JI clients with Sedgwick RSG's broker
- Reviews/completes applications and submits to appropriate markets
- Risk and exposure consulting - secondary to Program Executives
- Processes policy change requests - processes binders and certificates when given authority
- Maintains/Follow-ups on outstanding items needed from clients or insurance carriers
- Provides premium quotations to clients for new and renewal policies
- Creates and sends proposals
- Invoices all policies and endorsements, including follow-up on delinquent payments
- Processes company and customer inquiries and incoming correspondence
- Reviews expirations monthly and prepares policy renewal notices
- Processes preliminary claims notices between Insurance carriers and clients
- Maintains AMS 360
- Files Surplus Lines taxes and Stamping Office fees and maintains the appropriate files and logs for annual tax filings
- Delivers applications to Texas Windstorm Insurance Association for immediate binding of coverage, if needed
- Manages Agency offsite files
Sedgwick Pooling (Self-Insured Texas Pool Administration)
- Serves as the primary contact for self-insured pool member clients day-to-day basic coverage and service questions
- Fields and responds to client complaint calls and letters
- Maintains current underwriting exposures in Pool underwriting system(s) for all clients (e.g., amendments adding vehicles, property, etc.)
- E-mails and/or prints, assembles and mails member policies
- Issue verification of coverage (certificates) for all lines of coverage
- Coordinates and conducts contribution audits for self-insured pool clients
- Updates and processes inter-local agreements
- Processes annual MCP adjustments
- Coordinates, collects, and processes self-insured pool member renewal updates including exposures, financial statements, warranties, MCP election forms, poor driver forms, etc.
- Setup timeline with checklist for items to be done to finalize account renewal
- Processes DWC notices for self-insured pool member clients
- Makes updates in coverage documents
- Reproduces and distributes changes in coverage documents for self-insured pool clients, including a clear and succinct explanation of the changes from the prior document
- Maintains vehicle id card stock for TWCARMF & TCRMF, working directly with the vendor to replenish the supply
- Works with underwriter to pre-underwrite self-insured pool prospect proposal development, including gathering needed underwriting information
- Enters property & auto schedule exposures into systems to facilitate individual pool proposals
- New member account set-up in underwriting and AMS systems
- Notify teams of new accounts written and accounts lost, as they occur
- Provides TXDOT with appropriate custom coverage verification forms for self-insured pool members that have contracts with them
- Process monthly workers' compensation reporting forms for self-insured pool members
- Prepares and sends property / vehicle exposures reports/downloads to Loss Control for their onsite member visits/evaluations
- Manages team fax e-mail account
- Processes daily and annual MVR's
- Processes monthly MVR invoices and reconciles monthly out-of-state MVR billing
- Reconciles and processes monthly invoices and quarterly billings from vendor for MVR's
- Assist with the testing of new system developments related to the team's self-insured pool clients and eventual implementation and usage of such system(s)
- Manages self-insured pool onsite files
- Maintains Off-Site file Storage for MGA Team
General
- Documents/inputs all phone calls, e-mails, correspondence and any other documents into AMS within 1 business day of receipt/making/sending or as otherwise agreed to in procedures
- Documents and maintains job/position descriptions and position procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
