A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A HUMAN RESOURCES Administrator / RECRUITER
As our Human Resources Administrator / Recruiter, you have the essential role of ensuring that we have a capable and happy workforce. You effectively administer all HR functions, including recruiting, interviewing, selection, hiring, retention, training, development, performance management, compensation, benefits, employee relations, HR-related policy development and implementation, and HR regulatory compliance. As a team player, you collaborate with other managers to create, manage, and update job descriptions and compensation packages. You facilitate positive employee relationships on all levels.
One of your primary goals is to ensure that top talent is hired in a timely and effective manner according to company needs. You manage full lifecycle recruiting from sourcing to onboarding. Your strategies include maintaining our database of experienced technicians from across the country as well as leveraging social media and job fairs. This also means that you manage our employer and internal brand, ensuring that we are perceived as an employer of choice by both current and potential employees. You coordinate training and administer our employee recognition program. Your mission is to ensure excellent employee morale and high retention.
In addition to interacting with job candidates and new talent, you act as the primary point of contact for HR-related questions--always handling inquiries and changes with patience. Part of your job is strategic, as you participate in the development and implementation of policies and procedures that will meet our business goals and advance our mission. Conscientiously, you ensure compliance with laws and regulations as well as keep employee records accurate and up to date. You get a great deal of satisfaction out of helping us attract and hold on to our greatest asset!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A HUMAN RESOURCES Administrator / Recruiter

  • Degree in business management OR equivalent education and training
  • 2 years of experience in an HR & benefits position
  • Skills in employee relations, performance management, skills assessment, and leadership coaching
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or the Google Suite
  • Valid driver's license
  • Leadership skills
HR certification is preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration. Six years of experience in an HR management role with direct reports and regulatory compliance programs for an organization with a minimum of $6 million in annual sales would be ideal.

WORK SCHEDULE
This full-time HR administration, benefits, and recruiting position typically works Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM .
