Job Summary:

The Business Development Specialist position is responsible for the day to day management of the Business Development request que. Directs requests and issues to the appropriate individual in Business Development. Tracks progress and completion of outstanding items in the que. Communicates with branch, corporate employees, and vendors in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner. Research and compiling data in multiple projects to support corporate strategy initiatives.

Job Functions:

Essential Job Functions

Workflow Management

Acts as a liaison between branch and corporate employees and the business development team

Reviews requests that come in for Business Development. Identifies appropriate individual to handle the request and provides them with details.

Tracks requests in the que to ensure they are addressed and closed out.

Administrative Support

Provides daily administrative support to Business Development team

Plans, organizes, and prioritizes own work to meet deadlines and accomplish assigned tasks within established timelines

Attends to administrative and clerical detail utilizing initiative, problem analysis techniques, good judgment, and confidentiality

Prepares a variety of materials that may include privileged and highly sensitive information. Maintains strict confidentiality on all job-related matters

Research and compiles data on assigned topics

Contributes to a positive work environment by demonstrating cultural expectations and influencing others to reward performance and value "can do" people, accountability, diversity and inclusion, flexibility, continuous improvement, collaboration, creativity and fun.

Required Knowledge and Skills

Solid knowledge and understanding of customer service and intrapersonal best practices

Solid knowledge and understanding of current business acumen.

Solid knowledge and understanding of mortgage lending processes, procedures, and regulations.

Required Experience:

3+ years of related experience.

Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced and changing environment.

Demonstrated experience with MS Office products.

Demonstrated experience with attention to detail, time management, written and oral communication, multi-tasking and working in a team atmosphere adhering to tight deadlines.

Education:

2 Year / Associate Degree
