Lead Business Analyst and Application Development Manager (C13, VP)This role involves design and testing new reporting capabilities, design and testing of CISO Business View application, analysis of Information Security (IS) key indicators and IS topics, automating the data feeds in collaboration with Technology partners, and working on Cognos BI Platform in the reports production and QC for Chief Information Security Office (CISO).In Chief Information Security Office / Governance, Risk and Controls / Metrics Program, our mission is to:1. To provide Information Security (IS) metrics and reports to Citi Executive Management, CISO senior management, ISROC, and the IS Community on a timely basis2. To provide a platform to define and measure IS risk, process, threat and operational indicators3. To provide IS Monthly Reports and ad-hoc reports to stakeholders4. To provide IS Metrics in near real-time via CISO Business View application to stakeholders and practitioners5. To provide details of IS issues to the Information Security practitioners6. To manage enhancements and changes in the IS Reports and CISO Business View in collaboration with IS Program Owners7. To maintain historic IS Risk dataThe skills needed for this role are:1. Business analysis, writing of BRDs and product design and specifications2. Authoring use cases, documenting test cases, performing UAT testing3. Strong understanding of UI / UX and usage modalities4. Testing and validation of reports and applciations5. Good communication and organization skills are highly prized in our group; authoring PowerPoint presentations and writing technical stories, familiarity with JIRA.6. Prior experience in IT Risk Management and / or Information Security is a must7. Working with data, data analysis, modeling skills8. Project management skills are a plus.This role has the following responsibilities:1. Product Management: Own and manage new reporting capabilities, product features of CISO Business View application in collaboration with the Technology App Dev team and QC testing team. Also perform the periodic operational tasks, upkeep of the IS data and key indicator data, etc. Must also be able to write Business requirements and manage release process using the standard SDLC in Citi. Respond to user questions and provide customer service to users and entertain product improvement discussions with various stakeholders.2. IS Analysis: Perform analysis of the IS Metrics produced in CISO Business View and GISMR.3. Data Feeds Automation: Work with Technology App Dev team and IS Program Teams to create automation of feeds which feed IS risk data to the CISO Business View application. Write BRDs and perform UAT testing on the feeds implemented by the Technology App Dev team and promote them into Production upon satisfactory testing.4. Report Production: Although this is a secondary responsibility, this person must be able to produce reports and participate in the monthly IS reporting cycle operations. Familiarity with Cognos5. Report QC: Perform QC on others' reports for both formatting and data issues. Be able to look at the source data and compare it with the pdf reports and spot discrepancies and other issues.6. Data Analysis: Perform data analysis using Excel and Access7. Presentation skills: The reports, data analysis artifacts, BRDs, and project plans must be presented to stakeholders in clear and easily understood format in Excel, PowerPoint, Word or PDF documents.8. Work on CISO Metrics related projects: Work on assigned projects which generally involve the above areas..Qualifications1) Undergraduate degree in Information Technology / Information Security related fields required2) 6-10 years working in application development and/or application UI / UX design preferablyfocused in Financial Services industry.3) Experience in project/program management and organizational transformation a plus.4) Industry Info Security certifications are a plus.5) Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills to senior management and business users6) In-depth knowledge of technology, security, risk, and compliance best practices. Strong capability in interfacing with both technology groups and business customers.7) Customer-oriented, resourceful and enthusiastic.8) Focused on considering business enablement while reaching balanced information risk judgments.9) Analytical problem-solving skills.10) Be able to present materials in a format that facilitates senior management decision making.11) Knowledge of Cognos is a major plus.12) Adept at multitasking and time management with the ability to remain calm under pressure and meet deadlines.Required technical skills:1. Must have web-based application development experience2. Must have application product management experience with a keen eye on user experience issues3. Must be able to produce BRDs and be able to visualize various usage scenarios4. Be able to read / understand / hold review sessions / approve FRDs5. Be able to write user guides6. Must have an excellent understanding of databases, tables, and data design concepts7. Must have data modeling and data design experience8. Understand Information Security and understand IS metrics in particular9. Must be able to understand the IS key indicators, their significance, and inter-relationships.10. Be able to use the Cognos platform and generate reports3. Should be able to work independently and also in a team environment7. Be able to multi-task8. Be able to pay attention to details9. Be proficient in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word10. Have good presentation skills and produce precise and well-crafted reports12.
