Business Analyst -REMOTE

As our Business Analyst, you will assist with the implementation and support of business information across multiple departments. You will identify problems and opportunities within a customer, product or service and ultimately provide solutions that help achieve the organization's goals.

The Business Analyst collaborates with the Sales, Sales Support Teams, and Financial Reporting Team to develop Business Requirements Documents (BRD) for key initiatives. Our BA will be responsible for bridging the gap between the financial report development team and sales support using data analytics and data modeling techniques to assess and document BRDs. In this role, you will work with financial report development team to translate business requirements into internal and customer facing dashboards and reports.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Manages all aspects of assigned projects, including business requirements interviews, BRD development, and data modeling.
• Creates detailed business and customer analysis, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for the proposed reporting solution.
• Generates reports and analyzes data for presentation in business reviews with executives, sales leaders and clients.
• Conducts risk analysis for customer accounts and reports on probabilities of win or loss.
• Understand and manage to all regulatory and reporting requirements.
• Conducts financial and operational modeling as well as develops new models that support sound business decisions.
• Coordinates, leads or assists with special projects.
• Maintains comprehensive knowledge customer dashboard and reporting requirements.
• Represents the company in a professional and businesslike manner and communicates effectively with clients, vendors, partners and other employees.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Five years of related business analyst or business Intelligence support experience required. A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• A proven analytical background with strong knowledge of data modeling, data visualization, and data languages (SQL, SAP/SAS, etc.).
• Excellent administrative, reporting, organizational and communication skills. Must be company profitability oriented.

Analyst certifications; Preferred

• Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)
• IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA)
• IIBA Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA)
• IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
• IIBA Agile Analysis Certification (AAC)
