OUR OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking a self-motivated individual who will own the North American market. The Business Development Manager is responsible for achieving sales and profitability in line with company objectives; identifying marketplace opportunities, and prospecting for and engaging new clients to drive rapid and sustainability. Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Develop and maintain business with new and existing clients ethically and professionally;
  • Create and execute strategic sales plans and expand customer reach;
  • Grow sales revenue through current channels, distributor model, and the rapid development of new B2B opportunities;
  • Work in tandem with the company's marketing team to deliver strategic marketing programs to increase sales;
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs;
  • Develop long-term, strategic relationships with key customers to deliver outstanding service and support;
  • Track, assess, and communicate key metrics and business trends to distributors and resellers;
  • Regular call cycles to maintain engagement, education and drive repeat business; and
  • Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers and meet regularly with management and stakeholders to discuss strategy.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

To be successful in this position you will have the following:

  • Sales experience in the overlanding, camping, automotive or outdoor industry;
  • Commercial awareness - great with relationships and able to identify commercial opportunities;
  • Successful track record in B2B sales and negotiation;
  • Strong networking capabilities; and
  • Exceptional ability to be self-motivated, work autonomously and report through to an international organizational structure.

Salary: From $70,000.00 per year
