Solomon Associates (Solomon), the leading performance improvement company for the global
energy industry, is seeking candidates for a Director Human Resources position to work in a dynamic, fast-paced business environment. This position will be based Dallas, Texas and the responsibilities include the following:
Reporting directly to the CEO, and a matrix reporting to HSB HR Director, lead all HR functions and HR team members to provide HR consultation to all divisions of Solomon. This includes identifying needs, managing relationships and delivering HR services and solutions to the business. In addition, provide strategic direction and business solutions across a full range of HR functions, including employee relations, talent management, succession planning, diversity & inclusion and organization effectiveness. The Director Human Resources is a member of the Executive Committee responsible to deliver enterprise results. It will work with management and employees across the entire company, including several offices outside the US, to build the leadership capability, organizational capability and culture that will enable Solomon to achieve its objectives and to ensure consistent application of all corporate and local HR policies, processes and systems. The position works closely with HR counterparts at HSB and Munich Re to leverage corporate resources and generate solutions to complex business problems and ensure alignment.
Working in partnership with the rest of the Executive Committee and other leaders, transform the business by integrating and aligning the HR strategy with the enterprise strategy and clearly communicating those objectives. Thoroughly understand the business operation of the Company, its plans, its culture and its competition. Generate people insight, identify and translate needs into requirements for the right HR solutions, and partner with Solomon leadership and corporate resources to develop necessary solutions. This position will work with Solomon leadership to transform the culture of the Company consistent with the established core values and fundamental behaviors of the Company in such a way that it generates the betterment of the current organization design and strategic priorities.

* Bachelor's Degree is required (a concentration in Human Resources preferred)
* Master's Degree preferred (MBA, MS in HR, or advanced degree in OD)
* 10+ years' experience in a senior HR role with an OD focus leading an HR team inside a growing business with a minimum of 10 years as an HR Generalist
* 5+ years' Human Resources Management experience including the following areas: recruiting, employee/labor relations, training, organizational development, benefits, compensation, HRIS, developing/implementing policies and procedures as well as other duties assigned
* Previous senior management experience within a global or multi-site, multi-geographic, multi-functional organizations is preferred
* Previous experience managing a complex change effort and project management is preferred
* Previous experience or exposure with M&A work and business growth through acquisitions a plus
* Previous experiences operating effectively in a matrix environment with corporate HR providing guidance on HR policies/procedures
* Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with and influence the decision making of senior management.
