This role provides leadership and stewardship to drive and elevate Kimberly-Clark's global risk management programs ($40 million cost of risk - spending).
As a leader in the Global Risk Management department, the incumbent will demonstrate the One K-C Behaviors and be accountable for inspiring and developing talent. The incumbent will be will be responsible for creating actionable strategies aligned with enterprise strategies, building sustainable change, and providing valuable advice to senior leadership and internal and external customers.
The role reports to the Assistant Treasurer, Global Operations and Risk Management with one direct report. Collaboration is required with peers in the Global Risk Management team and across the Finance organization as well as with other major functions such as Human Resources, Legal, and Supply Chain. Direct responsibility for managing key external relationships including property insurance companies, property brokers, and loss prevention specialists.
• In collaboration with key stakeholders, develop, implement and maintain property loss prevention strategies and programs to identify, evaluate and mitigate the risks of the Corporation.
• Implement strategies to efficiently self-assume, transfer or otherwise finance the property risks of the Corporation.
• Pursue satisfactory outcomes regarding property insurance claims.
• Inspire and accelerate cultural transformation promoting standard work and process efficiency making the complex simple. Drive cultural changes where feedback is expected to be given.
• Take focused action to strengthen global risk management talent
• Develop and maintain relationships with appropriate K-C senior leaders and with key external insurance and loss prevention related partners.
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of global risk management experience, including leading highly effective teams. Preferred degree in engineering with advanced degree in finance or accounting.
- Accomplished in property insurance practices and property loss prevention strategies

- Excellent change management, project management, communication and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build sustainable organizational change in a matrixed, global environment

- Solid analytical skills in financial analysis with modeling expertise
- Demonstrated skill in business case development, with benchmarking internally and externally
