ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver the highest levels of service through same day or next day interactions with members
• Assist members in completing loan applications over the phone and/or electronically
• Contribute to a collaborative team environment that promotes positive working relationships and productivity
• Maintain a high level of understanding of consumer products and features to identify, review, and promote appropriate products to members
• Interview consumer loan applicants and provide information on consumer loan products that best meet the member's needs. Request, review, and deliver all appropriate documentation to the underwriting department
• Identify cross-sell opportunities through meaningful conversations and analysis of credit bureau reports including Gap, Extended Warranty, and Credit Life & Disability
• Ensure applicable regulation and compliance is met in the consideration, opening, and closing of all product types within the credit union
• Resolve member issues and inquiries in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure members' non-public personal information is always protected
• Answer phones when needed
• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• At least two years in a consumer lending environment is required
• Spanish speaking
• Work without constant supervision
• Excellent communications skills and professional appearance
• Reliable, organized, efficient
