PURPOSE AND SCOPE:

Project Manager / Business Analyst position serves as key project management as well as a business and technical analyst for IT projects involving application development, systems integration, data analytics, and other technology and organizational efforts. The individual within this position will take initiative, ensure accountability and follow-through, and will successfully serve as a liaison between clients, technical staff, and leadership

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Performs project management for multiple information technology projects simultaneously from a project's inception to its conclusion, participates in various programs, planning activities and staff meetings.
  • Develops project work plans, prepares estimates, defines roles and responsibilities, tracks and facilitates project progress, develops and implements test plans.
  • Reviews and assesses technical project requests, including system development and application integration/implementation requests to define requirements and estimates; serves as a key liaison facilitating application development staff, application owners and end-users in translating application development needs into development specifications; conducts system analysis and design activities
  • Develop project specifications, user integration guides, training documents, identifying business processes, and providing recommendations related to proposed solutions
  • Maintains communications on project status with all associated parties and oversees roll out activities; Organizes information and materials for websites, project portals, and other project documentation platforms and ensures project information is shared with key stakeholders
  • Create process models, specifications, diagrams and charts to provide direction to system programmers. Develop system test plans for new system implementation work. Develop and document deployment work plans. Produce project status reports on a timely basis.
  • Create operation job streams by assembling required processing steps in a logical order to accomplish desired results.
  • Collaborate in the planning, design, development and deployment of new applications and enhancements to existing applications. Evaluate end user technology system needs and recommend, develop, implement and support the systems to meet these needs.
  • Leads the design, development, and implementation of new applications and changes to existing systems and processes. Assess the usefulness of pre-developed application packages and adapt them to a user environment.
  • Provide technical support for software / applications used throughout the organization. Identify new areas of growth after implementation and propose solutions to the business. Expanding or modifying the system to serve new purposes or improve workflow.
  • Develop system user documentation. Develop, document and revise system design procedures, test procedures, and quality standards.
  • Problem solve and troubleshoot application related issues; identify and understand the issue/challenge of clients and construct counter-solutions; ensure issues are identified, tracked, and reported/resolved in a timely manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5+ years of work experience with demonstrated ability to lead teams in problem solving, project management, business analysis and application management,
  • Minimum of 5 years progressive experience developing, implementing and supporting fully integrated business systems.
  • Experience with Agile and related methodologies (e.g., Lean, Scrum, Kanban)
  • Experience in testing applications, reports, and dashboards, and conducting usability studies
  • Proven experience with business and technical requirements, analysis and business modeling.
  • Experience with integrating ERP systems with local and SAAS applications.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and systems especially as implemented in an information technology environment.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to take initiative, act as a self-starter and work with little supervision.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, organizational skills and professional appearance essential.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in an interrupt-driven environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including exceptional verbal and written abilities
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, perform repetitive motions, climb, balance, push and pull objects.
  • Must bring your own Apple or Android cell phone for business related communications and install business applications as requested by management.
  • Ability to travel regionally, nationally and internationally.

EDUCATION /CERTIFICATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field preferred
  • PMP Certification is a plus

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
