Summary:
The Strategic Analyst - Enterprise FP&A will play a key role in supporting the quarterly forecast, and annual and strategic business planning process. This role reports the Associate Finance Director, Enterprise FP&A, and is located in the Dallas World Headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Forecast consolidation
• Own Anaplan forecast consolidation process (supporting quarterly forecast, Annual Business Plan, and Strategic Business Plan processes)
• Validate key forecast assumptions and ensure accuracy of forecast reporting
• Closely engage with BU and Corporate teams to ensure smooth coordination and timely communication
• Proactively identify improvement opportunities and manage forecast process improvement efforts
• Work closely with the Associate Finance Director, FP&A to deliver insights and analysis to leadership
Lead month-end analysis of actuals:
• Lead the preparation and analysis of monthly management reports and other analytics
Lead FX and other ad-hoc analysis
• Be the single point of contact on Fx monthly forecast process (coordinating with Treasury)
• Closely monitor impact of Fx to K-C's business and provide timely updates
• Perform model administration tasks, troubleshooting, validation, and improvements for the Anaplan Global Currency Model
• Lead other ad-hoc analysis, including analyzing key financial drivers/trends to identify risks and opportunities and develop a point view on the financial outlook
Support of executive communication materials
• Work closely with broader Enterprise FP&A team in supporting executive communication to the Executive Leadership Team and Board of Directors
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree with at least 6 years of relevant finance working experience
• Proven experience in process improvement and change management
• Previous FP&A, Business Analysis, or Treasury experience
• Working knowledge of the P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
• Strong collaboration skills; demonstrated ability to effectively work in global organization
• Strong written and oral communication skills: ability to synthesize data and clearly convey actionable messages
