Role Summary

Lead recruiting activities assuring the best of talent by maintaining a network of relationships with key stakeholders. A Lead Recruiter is expected to guide a team of recruiters and carry out recruitment activities for assigned areas

Responsibilities

  • Be an effective TA partner who can engage with front line hiring managers and leaders to understand talent needs and execute hiring plans
  • Partner with resource management partners for demand and supply forecast
  • Act as a trusted advisor for hiring managers
  • Develop strategic sourcing plan for high growth business with deliverables; timelines; and a formal tracking process to execute it
  • Develop and update job descriptions working with the front-line managers wherever required
  • Recommend ideas and strategies that will contribute to the company's long-term growth; implement new recruiting processes and fine-tune processes that fit within UST's mission to deliver the highest quality results for the customer
  • Source and recruit candidates through the best possible sourcing channels such as resume databases; social media; career sites, etc
  • Screen candidates through pre-screening interviews. Assess experience; aptitudes and present the best candidate(s) to the interview panel
  • Negotiate compensation with the candidate based on internal pay guidance
  • Discuss and negotiate relocation budgets with candidates
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Abide by all UST's corporate policies and processes

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate must have
  • Proven work experience as an experienced recruiter with proven access to talent markets and networks with 8+ years of recruitment experience
  • Proven expertise in handling large recruiting projects/ ramp-ups
  • Strong sourcing skills with a track record of implementing innovative and effective strategies for passive sourcing
  • Exceptional organizational and execution skills
  • Be up to date on current recruiting issues; trends; and best practices
  • Excellent communication; interpersonal skills, and strong negotiation skills
  • Hands-on experience with HR databases; Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS)
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Build strong partnerships with practices/service/account delivery functions and external firms
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with BU leaders, vendors, community organizations external firms to create a collaborative partnership
  • Provide recruiting solution trends and strategies to meet the requirements by collaborating with BU
  • Collaborate with the people functions and business leadership to ensure a consistent, diverse talent pipeline and excellent candidate experience
