GENERAL SUMMARY:
Manages all technical requirements of Maximo and other ERP Software of the assigned domain including departmental Applications and other Enterprise systems. Performs applications system installations, patching and upgrades. Manages User Security Access control and assignment. Manages the technical support of these systems for DART's Technology department. Must demonstrate a track record of successful technical management of Maximo and other ERP-applications. Manages enterprise upgrades and system implementation projects with the goal of business process improvement. Manages SLAs and SLOs of the assigned system. Manages Technical Service providers, including their deliverable and SLAs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages Implementation, monitoring, maintenance, development, testing, upgrade, and support of the assigned ERP systems.
  • Provides technical consultation and support to DARTs Technology functionals teams, business, and vendors.
  • Provides technical consultation and support of DARTs IBM WebSphere platform in support of the Maximo application.
  • Serves as the Application Security manager for the assigned systems.
  • Authors and maintains applications documentation and disaster recovery plans, provide training to Technology and Business staff as needed.
  • Assists other Technology departments during SDLC of Analytics, Dashboards, Web applications and Workflows integrating with the supported ERP and application
  • Provides a high degree of application Techno/functional expertise in a variety of the field concepts, practices, and procedures and provides consultation on complex projects.
  • Leads implementation schedules to ensure timely project completion
  • Provides support and training to user personnel based on IT projects and initiatives.
  • Manages and produces/maintains agency-wide ERP communications and documentation.
  • Oversees modifications to existing applications as necessary based on project requirements. Follows established industry standards and best practices for the installations, upgrades and patching of software.
  • Creates test plans, test files, and scripts for unit testing and integration testing. Works with users to validate system testing and conformity with techno/functional requirements.
  • Follows appropriate change management and implementation procedures. Ensures that appropriate technical documentation is prepared. Coordinates the implementation process
  • Provides technical troubleshooting and coordinates support with vendors. Provides support to new applications during and after implementation.
  • Leads ERP software environment, application, and client upgrades and patch installations.
  • Continually keeps abreast of technical skills to support new ERP software requirements and research various aspects of ERP tools and software for agency implementation.
  • Provide 5-star customer service and meet Agency service level agreements (SLA).
  • Conduct DART agency-wide user group meetings regarding upcoming features and enhancements.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Note: An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be substituted for the below stated minimums excluding High School Diploma, GED, Licenses, or Certifications.
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Seven (7) years information technology experience in project management, business analysis, or related environment to include three (3) years of experience developing, maintaining, and working with Maximo, Service Now, FileNet, and other enterprise applications to include System analysis, applications support, system administration, configuration and security.
  • Proficiency of PC software applications to include Microsoft Office or other related software applications.
  • Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing with the public, coworkers, management, and DART Board.
  • Must be able to work variable hours, to include emergency response to outages.
  • Must be able to perform work from remote locations as needed.
  • Must be able to work in an on-call rotation.
  • Must maintain all certification(s) required for this position.
  • Pass a physical (medical) examination that includes a drug screen in order to operate DART non-revenue vehicles, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works in an environment where there is minimum exposure to dust, noise, or temperature. May be moderately exposed to unpleasant working conditions to include dust, noise, temperature, weather, petroleum products, and chemicals while visiting DART's operating facilities, assuming incumbent is observing all policies and procedures, safety precautions and regulations, and using all protective clothing and devices provided.
