Description
The Client Associate (CA) role is a support position, typically providing dedicated operational and administrative support to one Financial Advisor (FA). The CA supports the FA's retirement plan practice, not private wealth management. The duties are more consultative in nature as the CA guides retirement plan clients through their areas of responsibilities which include but are not limited to plan administration, audits, conversions, employee communications, payroll issues, compliance and vendor partner management.
Required Skills
- Extensive employee benefits background preferably in a corporate capacity working directly with employees, third party vendors and employer's leadership team.
- Knowledge of retirement plan regulatory and compliance requirements with strong understanding of ERISA.
- Vendor management experience building and maintaining partnerships to administer employee plans with Affiliate Partners.
- Strong client service & technical skills (MS Word & Excel & Power Point). Ability to quickly learn mechanics of different Affiliate Partner Plan Sponsor and Participant support websites.
- Strong communication (written and verbal), time management, and organizational skills.
- Minimum of 1+ years professional or relevant internship experience required

- Seeking a detailed oriented, highly motivated individual who enjoys multi-tasking with minimal supervision and is a self-starter.
- The candidate should respond well to changing and evolving job duties and expectations.
- Strong technological skills are desired.

NOTE: In addition to any of the Client Associate roles (Registered, Partially Registered or Non-Registered), this position may be hired into any of the Private Wealth Associate roles (Registered, Partially Registered or Non-Registered).
