Manager, Internal Audit

Job description

Alcon is looking to hire an Internal Audit Manager to support our Finance and Accounting Auditing division in Fort Worth, Texas. In this role, you will report to the Director of Internal Audit and support the audit team by leading and executing audit engagements. As an integral part of a collaborative team, your responsibilities will include conducting audits in multiple areas under Financial, Operational and Compliance pillars as well as:

* Support the Director with planning and performing Financial, Operational and Compliance audits;
* Understanding the audit and risk universe applicable to Alcon's business;
* Assess and prioritize risks and developing testing methodologies to evaluate the sufficiency of controls;
* Provide insight on processes and help the Director make a determination of gaps, identify solutions and work with stakeholders to implement the solutions;
* Document the outcomes of testing and other audit procedures;
* Identify opportunities to improve audit processes and provide feedback to the Director to enhance the audit work program.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

* Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.+2yrs; PhD+0 yrs)
* The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
* 5 Years of Relevant Experience

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

* CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) certification highly preferred (current or in progress)
* Ability to work effectively with diverse teams located in multiple locations;
* Experience in multiple disciplines (e.g. Audits, Finance and Risk Management);
* Experience in working with stakeholders within Legal and Compliance, Finance, Business Processes, Financial Planning and Analysis, etc.;
* Experience in emerging areas such as Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption, Data Privacy is a plus
* Experience working as an SAP Business Intelligence end user and advanced capabilities in Microsoft Office Suite; and
