Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Fort Worth, TX that is looking for a Purchasing Administrator on a long term contract basis. The Purchasing Administrator will be responsible for administrative Support to the Procurement department, and will manage the day-to-day and clerical activity related to the category and support purchase requestors: vendor creation, purchase request/purchase order process and supplier agreement framework. The successful Purchasing Administrator must understand internal customer activity and constraints that could be impacted by supplier performance. Additional duties of the Purchasing Administrator include
  • Work closely with the Category Manager and support the sourcing strategy and implementation, i.e. launching of sourcing events (RFI/RFP/RFQ), supplier costs analysis, supplier costs comparison tables, supplier evaluations and supplier selection
  • Assist in managing a purchasing segment and handle simple projects: tenders, quotes analysis, simple contract, negotiation, supplier management


Job Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3+ years of Purchasing/Procurement experience
  • Proficient with Excel
  • Experience with Oracle is preferred
