Working under general supervision the International ERP Application Developer designs and develops all components of the GameStop NavGS platform based on Microsoft's Dynamics NAV environment. This includes analysis of requirements, design and development of Warehouse Management, Financial, Merchandising, eCommerce and Store Operations support functionality using Dynamics NAV, SQL Server TSQL, and .Net. The Associate may interact with his or her supervisor several times a week, to receive guidance and feedback. Some non-routine activities may require a supervisor's advance approval.
• Work with supervisor and senior developers to understand business requirements and create a technical solution that, where possible, utilizes existing Dynamics NAV core and previously developed functionality to accomplish business outcomes
• Develop business functionality based upon defined design and requirements
• Learn and understand moderately complex to complex distributed, multi-tool development environments that will heavily utilize the MS Dynamics NAV Integrated Development Environment and application suite
• Partner with multiple technical stakeholders including developers in the US and Europe, DBAs and Infrastructure team members to create components that operate well in the GameStop IT environment
• Provide escalated problem resolution to the support team and resolve production issues (in a 24/7 operating environment)

BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE)
• Associate's degree from an accredited program in computer science, IT systems, programming or similar discipline preferred;
• 2+ years of software development experience in an object-oriented environment
• 1+ year of experience creating SQL objects and queries
• Specific experience developing in a Microsoft Dynamics NAV environment desired
• Experience developing, implementing or working with applications for Warehouse Management and/or Finance desired
• Experience in International development desired
• Experience in a retail company developing software desired
• Experience working on AGILE development teams (specifically Scrum) preferred
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, JOB SKILLS, ABILITIES
• Proficient written and verbal communication and presentation skills using spoken English
• Proficient organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple, overlapping, and potentially conflicting priorities
• Proficient ability to meet demanding, evolving and potentially overlapping deadlines
• Working knowledge of object oriented development and design
• Demonstrated capacity for gathering and scrutinizing data to identify issues, opportunities, patterns, and sustainable business solutions
