JOB DESCRIPTION

Company Brief:

Growing, fast-paced fence industry located in Houston, TX is looking for a self-starter to manage the bookkeeping and billing functions of the company as well as other general company functions

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years related work experience in working knowledge of bookeeping.
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS applications & Quickbooks and Access.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Strong analytical, detail oriented, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
  • Excellent prioritization skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and with multiple staff members

Major Duties & Responsibilities

  • Set up & maintenance of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Maintain Access data base for billing and report purposes.
  • Resolving payment discrepancies and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Researching and replying to client's requests relating to billing and processing payments and allocating premiums as necessary.
  • Managing accounts using departmental procedures, processing client transactions for policy changes, billing changes, and client changes.
  • Tracking and managing all aspects of commissions.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients, carriers, vendors, and agents.
  • All aspects of servicing clients.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
