Description: Sr Business Analyst
I. Job Summary
Selected candidate will have proven SDLC BA experience in a Fortune 500 Agile environment, accustomed to working with diverse stakeholders with complex requirements, effectively gathering business requirements, conveying to development teams, and ensuring project success. Candidate must have superior communication skills, command of Agile methodology, ability to present/communicate to Sr. Management and Leadership, extract user requirements that can translate to development, and keep consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle within a Large/Complex Corporate IT landscape. Project experience with Frontend, Java, AWS, and Backend server-side corporate IT Projects highly preferred. Candidate must demonstrate a comfortable expertise as a turn-to resource in project status. Recognized across the organization for functional expertise. Acts as the primary liaison between the Technology and the business of new systems and enhancement of existing systems. Conducts technically advanced and in-depth level business process analysis, needs assessments and preliminary cost/benefit analysis in an effort to align Technology solutions with business initiatives. Primary liaison between technical staff and business owners; demonstrating advanced communication skills between all levels of the organization. Provides top-level business and systems analysis while focusing organizational strategic vision. Contributes expertise in particular business processes and is responsible for formulating systems/process Product and objectives relative to the organization's business plan and user requirements, process flow definitions, business process mapping and functional specifications. Documents requirements and formulates test plans with QA and other partner groups prior to requesting business user testing. Leads project team with Producting business user acceptance Verifies the business user sign off acceptance and works with Technology and business for deployment plan. Ensures the development of complex information systems, or revisions to existing system logic to meet business requirements and objectives. Leads the team in reviewing progress and evaluating results for accuracy and efficiency. Prior Experience in Logistics domain is Desirable. Tools : JIRA, Confluence, MS Excel, Power BI, Databases (Relational/NO-SQL)
III. Supervisory Responsibilities
Some informal supervisory duties, such as delegation of tasks, may be required.
IV. Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.
A. Education and Experience
Required: Bachelors Degree, or equivalent experience, in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or similar area of study, and seven or more years previous experience.
Preferred: Masters Degree.
B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements
Preferred: PMI Certification.
C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required
May require intermediate skills in one or more of the following: PeopleSoft HRMS systems development, implementation, upgrades and analyses, QA testing, catalyst or unified business modeling, system design and analysis, web application development, imaging technology, subject matter knowledge such as benefits, payroll, and basic accounting, project management, conducting training, strong analytical skills and communication skills.
