Your profile

· Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Electrical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering required. Professional Engineering License is preferred

· 15 years engineering and management experience in oil and gas or petrochemical industry. Experience in decarbonization technologies is a plus

· Experience in all aspects of engineering from conceptual design, project economics, detailed engineering, and plant startup and troubleshooting preferred

· Multi-discipline understanding in process, instrumentation & controls, piping, machinery, process safety and equipment design.

· Effective experience in the application of relevant major design codes and standards (API, ASME, GPSA, ISO, NFPA, etc.)

· Ability to travel domestically and internationally 25%

· The selected candidate will be hired with a local contract, if applicable, from the country of application and therefore having residence and valid documentation/authorization to work in the country is required

Your responsibilities

· Overall responsibility for leading the engineering team in the design, quality, technical content and integrity on carbon capture projects, plus:

    • Responsible for the engineering documents prepared to be on time and on budget
    • Providing input to SE Bid Management Team to develop schedule and scope of work
    • Responsible for addressing design issues / technical risks with considerations to cost, schedule, and quality
    • Managing interfaces with internal SE technical team, licensors and client technical points-of-contact
  • Global responsibility to provide technical integrity assurance to the SE Bid Management Team and EPC Contractor during specification, tender, selection, purchase, installation & commissioning of process equipment
  • Personal responsibility for personal safety and working within the environmental, health and safety procedures of the organization and project.
