Responsibilities of the Human Resources Representative include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with employee onboarding processes to include E-Verify, policy review and acknowledgements
  • Advise management regarding the performance management process to include performance appraisals, disciplinary documentation, and providing guidance at employment separation
  • Assist with employee investigations and managing the employee hotline/web portal
  • Conduct and manage the exit interview process to draft reports for management assessment
  • Update and monitor the company Glassdoor page and similar websites
  • Coordinate employee engagement events
  • Consult with employees and management concerning COVID-19
  • Process and assess periodic and ad-hoc HRIS/Workday reports
  • Assist with coordination of WC claims processing
  • Facilitate updates and random notifications for drug testing programs
  • PHMSA (Pipeline) and DOT compliance for NCMS
  • Process/Compliance with DOT background checks, drug screen & physical results
  • Process and track customer required background checks & drug screens; DISA
  • Assist with other projects and tasks as assigned

Qualifications of the Human Resources Representative include, but are not limited to:

  • 2-3 years of previous HR experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly detail oriented with strong organization skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines with a sense of urgency and accuracy
  • Must be computer literate in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Positive and professional attitude
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus

Additional Information:

Physical Demand: Physically able to file (bending and standing for periods of time)

Working Conditions: Climate controlled office environment

Training/Certifications: HR certifications preferred

Shift Time/Overtime: Mon - Fri - Occasional overtime

Travel: N/A

Education: High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
