Job description

Long-term needed for elementary level.

To plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic potential.

Day-to-day job duties will likely include:

• Teaching a curriculum provided by the school
• Assigning and grading homework
• Creating and grading tests and quizzes
• Engaging your class with lectures, classroom discussions, relevant activities, and demonstrations.

2. Assessment and feedback

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree (Must be in the Teaching Certification program)
• Ability to establish positive and meaningful relationships with students.
• Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and parents from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.

ADDITIONAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• May perform additional tasks and duties as requested.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Effective communication skills, both orally and in writing.
• General knowledge of intervention practices.
• Ability to independently, effectively deal with student behaviors.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to develop and follow schedules.
• Ability to work independently.

Assist students to appraise and reflect extensively on feedback received on evaluated work, so they grow their ability to convert feedback to knowledge and progress effectively.
