Job description
The Performance Management Consultant is responsible for creating business relationships with dealer principals, general managers, and all levels of dealership management through onsite customer visits. They will have CDK DMS and layered application knowledge of best practices and key metrics that support one complete dealership workflow (sales, parts, service, and accounting). Demonstrating and reviewing CDK Service/Ford SMARTT and capabilities, DMS utilization and product functionality through use of KPIs. Maintaining an ongoing business relationship with dedicated customer base to expand on future opportunities following established consulting model and program. This position is in the Southern Texas market.
Position Responsibilities & Essential functions
- Scheduling onsite sessions with assigned customer base.
- Fully functioning contributor to team, customer outcomes, sales relationships and goals, team projects, coaching and mentoring of new team members.
- Leveraging PM's structured action item format for all visits and SalesForce.com for scheduling and reporting.
- Promoting additional CDK products and services with customers while partnering and communicating with Sales on all customer activities.
- Sustaining relationships with customer base through regular follow-up and expected site visit session frequency.
- Coordinating resolution of any outstanding technical CDK Product issues with Support or other appropriate sources.
- Completing accurate agendas and reports within the required timeframes and managing customer records in Salesforce.
- Assist and provide direction to other Performance Management Consultants as needed.
- Customer base is location predominantly in the Central time zones.
Qualifications & Job Requirements
- 3 plus years automotive retail experience or twelve months performance management experience related to Fixed Operations
- CDK product knowledge - specifically CDK Service/Ford SMARTT
- Strong computer skills with current technical knowledge, i.e., proficiency w/MS Office (Excel/PP).
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES & Qualifications
- Knowledge of automotive, dealership workflow, and technology industries
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to operate company fleet vehicle/pass pre-employment drug screening
