Position Title: Property Manager - is responsible for the overall operation and profitability of a multifamily community. Property Managers will attract, guide, develop and mentor high-performing teams and are responsible for promoting and acting in accordance with our company policies and values to ensure our culture of workplace excellence is experienced by all team members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities of Ideal Candidate:
- Manages and leads team members to achieve team success
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Strategically plans and meets individual and community performance goals consistent with market conditions (i.e., sales and marketing goals, customer sentiment goals, etc.)
- Achieves market results that consistently exceed submarket occupancy and rent growth performance
- Ensures that team provides customer service at every point of contact, exceeding residents' expectations
- Ensures community compliance with safety, industry, and state/city/federal regulations and requirements
- Recruit and develop a successful team
- Understand team members' professional goals and help them develop and achieve these goals
- Performs tasks of other team members as needed, including leasing and making apartment homes ready for leasing
- Establishes and monitors community budget daily in accordance with established goals and keeps expenses in line with the budget
- Ensures that all applicable deposits, rents, other fees, and ancillary revenues are collected and deposited
- Participates, approves, and manages marketing efforts to increase occupancy
- Works closely with service team to manage community maintenance programs including prompt and courteous responses to resident service requests
- Inspects community regularly to determine quality of community and to address and identify needs
- Understand the industry, competition, and market; apply this knowledge to improve results
- Take initiative to improve management ability, operating skills and job knowledge
- Maintain professional image at all times
- Be involved in appropriate external associations, organizations, and local communities
What you'll need to Succeed:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to visually inspect apartment homes, grounds, and other aspects of the community to determine that standards are met
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize duties and responsibilities
- Must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer, and to attend meetings at various sites
- Must have a valid driver's license unless otherwise noted
- Must be able to access all apartment homes and parts of the community to show the home to potential residents; inspect all areas of community, etc.
- Must have a minimum of at least 5 years or more in a managerial role at larger properties
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred Recognized designation in property management is a plus
- Training or experience in basic computer use and in Microsoft Word, Excel, and experience in OneSite/Yieldstar
- A clear understanding of business concepts, processes and the principles of strategic thinking
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of multifamily operations including people management, financial reporting, problem-solving, sales, maintenance and resident relations.
