We are looking for Store Sales Associates for our new Houston Premium Outlets location to provide excellent customer service and meet sales quotas for our business. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store's profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and direct customers
  • Assess customers' needs and provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
  • Stay up-to-date with the products and answer customers' questions
  • Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
  • Follow and achieve sales goals
  • Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service
  • Inform customers about discounts and special offers
  • Process POS (point of sale) transactions
  • Comply with inventory control procedures
  • Prepare daily and other ad-hoc reports
  • Maintain store appearance by cleaning, and re-working displays following visual guidelines
  • Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
  • Other tasks as assigned by management

Skills

  • 2 years of proven sales/clientele experience
  • 18 years or older
  • Reliable transportation
  • Proper money handling skills
  • Solid communication, interpersonal and time-management skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
  • Understanding of the retail sales process
  • Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
  • Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
  • Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the business needs
  • Bilinguals desired
  • Preferably located within 10 miles of 77433 area
  • Available to start immediately

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Holidays
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends

Supplemental Pay:

  • Commission pay

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Retail sales: 2 years (Preferred)

Shift Availability:
