The Accounts Payable Clerk performs a variety of routine and assigned clerical/accounting functions in accordance with standard procedures. Receives, reviews, and processes all accounts payable documentation. Prepares and distributes accounts payable checks. Handles accounts payable inquiries from accounting, other departments, and vendors.
Major Responsibilities
- Processes check runs for accounts payable checks.
- Open and sort incoming mail.
- Assists in the preparation and delivering of reimbursement checks.
- Processes vendor invoices; prepares and mails vendor checks.
- Responsible for filing checks and maintaining files.
- Works with vendors and company personnel on processing invoices and payments.
- Performs related assignments as required.

Minimum Qualifications
- High school education or equivalent; some college preferred, but not required.
- A minimum of one-year accounts payable or related experience.
- JD Edwards experience a plus.
- Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets.
- Working knowledge of the AS/400, a plus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
