The Company

This is a global manufacturing company that develops essential parts and services for rotating/reciprocating machinery. They oversee 5 renowned brands across the United States and also have a wide-range of global partnerships that support various industries, from oil & gas to general processing. As part of this company, you would contribute to the financial growth and innovation as an ERP Cost Analyst.

The Role

In this position, you will work closely with plant managers to implement cost efficiencies to increase profitability by establishing and optimizing cost accounting methodologies. You will be an integral part of the finance team and will be responsible for preparing and analyzing cost inventory accounts and reports, while also working closely with operations to capture accurate data and productivity.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working integrally with the operations team and on the shop floor to optimize plant financial performance


• Engaging in month-end close activities, such as preparing journal entries and reconciling inventory/accounts


• Working closely with company ERP system (Infor Syteline) to increase system efficiency and functionality


• Ensuring transparent financial reporting and forecasting to improve business decisions and drive continuous improvement


• Communicating financials and expenses to management based on analysis from operations


• Preparing annual budgets, monitoring progress, and explaining forecast variances to track and report on Key Performance Indicators

You would be a great fit for this position if you have:

• 3+ years of Cost Accounting & Analysis experience


• 3+ years of ERP experience (Infor Syteline a plus)


• 3+ years Manufacturing, Plant, & Operations experience


• 3+ years Financial Reporting experience


• Excellent cross-functional communication


• Ability & willingness to travel 30% for the first 6 months only to sister plant in Rock Island, IL
