Job description

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for general support of all Human Resources functions including benefits, payroll, recruiting, on-boarding, off-boarding and special projects. He/she supports the Managing Director, Human Resources, and does not have direct reports.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Provide first line Human Resources support to employee and manager inquiries.
  • Administrate, coordinate and participate in recruiting efforts.
  • Support on-boarding processes.
  • Maintain employee data and transactions including all job changes.
  • Process Human Resources related invoices for payment
  • Provide employee benefit support as well as administration of benefit programs.
  • Facilitate employee group meetings.
  • Assist in coordination of HR initiatives and special projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 1-2 years Human Resources experience
  • ADP-Workforce Now experience
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification strongly desired
  • Superior attention to detail, organization and effective time management skills
  • Ability to think analytically and transform findings into actions
  • Ability to ensure privacy of highly confidential documents and information
  • Confidence and professional demeanor working with all levels of employees
  • Expert Microsoft Office skills with advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint
