Job Description:
Supports first mortgage and home equity mortgage loan centers by ensuring operational readiness. Operational readiness work includes effective capacity management for all roles and aspects of the business, initiative design and implementation, customer experience, business continuity, training, etc. Monitors performance trends and makes suggestions to the process owner to improve efficiency and customer service. Creates specific action plans to drive consistent performance across all teams. Responsible for the integrity of processes designed to achieve quality and productivity standards. Maintains an ongoing line of communication with all markets. Executes process design and implementation of best practices being utilized for optimum results. Focus on key metrics needed to meet or enhance goals with a variety of constant initiatives. May have management responsibility for a small team.
Required Skills and Experience:
• 3+ years of operational management and/or leadership experience
• Demonstrated mortgage underwriting or processing skills
• Working knowledge of mortgage loan underwriting and/or other loan fulfillment activities
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to successfully work within a team to balance workloads, work quality and customer service
• Ability to navigate complex organization environment, dynamic schedules and customer service requirements
• Working knowledge and skills of computers and related software (Excel, PowerPoint)
Desired Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred
• Strong mortgage underwriting and/or loan processing
• Familiarity with mortgage underwriting and/or loan processing systems
• Strong analytical, reasoning and problem solving skills
