JOB SUMMARY
The North America Programs and Promotions team is seeking for an Analyst that can help BRP design the future of program decision making. If you are passionate about data science, are result oriented and are not scared of taking on a challenge, this is an opportunity for you!
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing, Designing, and programming decision making predictive modeling tools within PowerBI and Excel
- Ability to fully assess data and quickly attack to provide insights by visually representing data at a granular level
- Development and support of real-time data ingestion processes from various data sources
- Development, creation, and support of automation processes
- Coordinate with multiple development teams and external consultants to achieve Project delivery objectives
- Continues development and alignment of Data Process flow and ensuring deliverables are met
- Ability to read and identify gaps in current reports/metrics/processes and work with appropriate groups to rectify
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- 2-5 years experience in data modeling
- Bachelors Degree in computer science, mathematics/statistics
- Must appreciate fast paced environment
- Innovative mindset and winning attitude
- Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks at the same time
- Well organized and able to self-prioritize, sometimes with conflictual deadlines
- Committed to learn and develop constantly
- Finance Undergrad / work experience is a plus
- Cleaning/transforming data, data relationships, and the different types/components of data (primary/foreign keys, dimensions, facts, attributes, etc.).
- Should be able to handle querying of data
- Knowledge in either the programming languages of R or python and how to use them to analyze a data set
- Knowledge of database design, experience with Tableau and/or PowerBI
- Strong understanding mathematics and statistics
- Previous exposure in predictive analytics and modeling of any sorts
- Experience in translating business requirements into advanced data models able to fulfill analysts and data scientists requirements
- Experience in using cloud BI technologies such as Azure or similar
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus
