The User Experience Designer will be a critical member of the team responsible for building new experiences for customers to engage with Republic Finance. The ideal candidate will bring an abundance of passion for creating robust design systems to bring those experiences to life and ensure consistency in each customer interaction. This role is a superb opportunity for an up-and-coming design leader to set a new standard for our business by introducing and reinforcing modern design practices in every step of the process of product creation, from research to concept to delivery. You will be a voice and advocate for our customers in planning and product development, translating Republic Finance's brand and enthusiasm for helping our customers into authentic digital interactions that delight customers and bring humanity to the forefront. Job responsibilities are as follows:

• Build a deep understanding of our customers through exploration and partnership with research and design.
• Translate customer insights and business requirements into visual concepts or functional prototypes to be used for testing and validation.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders to share your designs and capture feedback.
• Create wireframes and high-fidelity mock-ups of new digital experiences that enable positive customer interactions.
• Develop fully functional prototypes using tools such as Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Work with a multi-functional product team in an agile environment to implement your designs.
• Partner with Product Managers on a vision and strategy for our digital products.
• Maintain comprehensive UX/UI style guidelines to ensure consistency in all our customer interactions and to assist with development.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with interaction and visual design for web-based experiences.
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully in cross-functional product teams that are responsible for delivering digital experiences.
• Strong understanding of user research methodology, along with a solid ability to synthesize insights from user research to improve user interfaces and systems.
• Experience with creating visual designs ranging from wireframes to high-fidelity prototypes and working with development partners to bring those designs to life
• Expertise in using design systems to ensure consistency in each customer interaction.
• Awareness of ADA requirements and user interaction standard methodologies.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design or Human-Computer Interaction.
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or other design tools such as Figma.
• Solid front-end coding skills are a plus, but not required.
• Experience designing for mobile applications.
