Senior Accountant

Fantastic opportunity to join this rapidly growing national organization within their corporate accounting department. My client has beautiful new offices, cafe, onsite gym, fantastic benefits, business casual environment, quarterly employee events and much more.

This is a highly visible position that will work closely with the Corporate Controller. This position will play a huge part in managing the fixed assets for the organization. This position will be involved with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, assisting with the annual budget process, variance analysis, fixed assets, depreciation and special ad-hoc projects.

Bachelor degree in Accounting, with 3+ year of progressive experience in the areas of month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, fixed assets, depreciation, budgeting and variance analysis. CPA is preferred or someone working towards their certification. Strong data mining experience, knowledge of Excel and major ERP system.

Senior Accountant

- Prior experience in a public accounting environment is highly valued

- Detailed and have the ability work independently

- Proficiency with corporate performance management (CPM) and business intelligence systems required

- Vow to meet business deadlines

- Efficient in ERP systems

- Skilled at time management

- Sharp, analytical thinking abilities, always seeking to draw connections and identify the "why"

- 3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience

- Solid understanding of fixed assets

- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and constantly changing company environment

- Self-driven motivator who takes initiative on projects with a strong ability to understand and solve creative challenges

- Experience in SOX control execution/documentation

- Strong communication and social skills and able to receive criticism well

- BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred
